All properties come with bed-linen and utilities included in the price, so when you arrive you can simply unpack and enjoy your holiday. One of the joys of self-catering is that each property is unique, so we give detailed information about each property on our website. If you want to double-check anything please feel free to call us before you book. After paying for your holiday we’ll provide you with the property owners’ contact details so if you have any further questions or requests you can speak directly to them about anything relating to their property.
Beds are made up ready for your arrival. Property owners provide bedding to suit the season and this will include items such as sheets, duvets, pillows & slips, mattress & pillow covers, throws and blankets.
Spare linen is provided for 2-week holidays but you may have to change this yourself, and put used linen out ready for collection. Special conditions apply to holidays lasting longer than 2 weeks and this includes arrangements for linen.
Gas, electricity, hot water and heating is included in the cost of your accommodation. THERE ARE NO COIN METERS AT ANY OF THE PROPERTIES.
Fuel for open fires is not usually provided, although the property owner will often leave an initial supply and instructions about where to obtain further supplies.
Special conditions apply to holidays lasting longer than 2 weeks.
Parking Permit “Scratch-Cards”
Where parking permits are required to park near the property, they are automatically provided for you for one vehicle for the duration of your stay.
If you require more than one set of parking permits (or more than 1 set of keys) you can tell us at the time of booking or contact the property owner in advance of your holiday (please don’t leave it too late). We will provide you with the property owners’ contact details as soon as you have paid in full.
Household Equipment & Appliances
Our minimum requirement for all properties that let through Bedwyns is that that they provide a television, oven, hob, fridge, freezer (or ice box) and enough pots, pans, utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery for the maximum number of guests that the property allows.
Tea-towels, bath mats, basic cleaning materials, bin bags, cleaning cloths, brushes, dust pan, vacuum cleaner, iron & board and a torch are also usually provided.
Towels, cots and high chairs are provided by some property owners – at no extra charge. Please read individual property details or check with the property owner if you are unsure what is available. COT LINEN IS NOT PROVIDED.
Water-proof mattress covers can be made available if requested well in advance.
All the properties are individually owned, so vary in style and décor, which we reflect in our pricing and descriptions. We encourage our property owners to leave a Welcome Tray for guests with items such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits, but these can vary, so if you wish to know exactly what to expect at a property please contact the property owner prior to your holiday. Please do not rely on these being available without checking first.
We aim to provide as much information as possible about each property in our published detailed descriptions, and try our utmost to keep everything up-to-date and accurate, however if you need to check something or need further details please call us and we will either advise you or refer you on to the property owner themselves.
Remember, once you have paid in full for your holiday you will be given the owners’ contact details so you will be able to call them in person with any last-minute queries.
