Excellent comfortable home from home flat in a great location of Scarborough! This was the first time i have ever booked a flat for a holiday. Normally me and the kids stay in hotels. Booking a flat was the best idea and booking this flat was brilliant. The location was great! A 15 min walk to the hustle bustle of Scarborough. Just down the road were the sea views and cliffs that you can walk down. When we walked in, it was very clean and tidy! I am a bit OCD, and i feared that i would need to clean the whole flat before we settled in properly - there was no need for that. The furniture and bed and bedding were excellent - very comfortable. Everything was there! Even bucket and spades! I hadn't thought of lunch boxes, but there were there!! I cannot stress how brilliant time we had in the flat! I would definitely book it again!!!!!!

This is a really attractive, well-maintained first-floor flat with lift access, in a lovely neo-Gothic building near Scarborough's Esplanade.

The living/dining room has an open-plan design and is furnished with a soft leather sofa, easy chair and dining table with 4 chairs. Complete with flat-screen TV, DVD Player and plenty of books and games it's a great place to relax in the evening.

The dining table is positioned in the south-facing bay window giving you lovely views of the South Cliff area as you sit and dine. This area is highly regarded for its grand Victorian architecture, open vistas and wide streets.

To one side of the living room is a well-appointed kitchen area....comprehensively equipped with all you would expect at this high standard including cooker, hob and extractor, under-plinth fan heating, fridge with ice-box, microwave, toaster and a washing machine.

There is one very large L-shaped bedroom with a double and a single bed. Beautifully finished and receiving lots of warming southern light from dual aspect windows it is a most welcoming space. The bedroom incorporates a delightful reading/study area - tucked into a sunny corner it has an easy chair, footstool and plenty of books. .. and is a handy place for a guest to retreat to access WiFi.

The bedroom offers flexibility and is as suitable for adults sleeping separately as it is for parents and a child. There's also cot that can be set up in the wide space between the beds.

NOTE : The sofa-bed in the lounge opens into a comfy double ... so the flat may suit 2 couples (see further information below).

The smart white bathroom has basin, WC, shower over the bath, glass shower screen and heated towel rail. A non-slip shower mat and absorbent bath mats are provided, but please remember to bring your own bath towels.

Modern, efficient, controllable electric heating keeps the apartment warm and inviting.

The accommodation is set out on one level and there is lift access up to the apartment so it may suit those with mobility difficulties.

There are also stairs if you don't fancy the lift.

Utilities included. No meters. Permits for parking on-street nearby.

A travel cot is available free-of-charge...please ask.

Parking is on-street using free 24-hour permits. Parking is not designated but you can usually get parked very close to the flat.

Location

South Cliff is an attractive area bounded by the sea on one side and the suburb of Ramshill on the other....it's on the quieter side of Town - popular with couples and small family groups.

What's nearby?

Well-placed for The Esplanade (200 yards), South Cliff Gardens and Ramshill shopping parade (500 yards).

Only a very short car journey (or 10-15 minute walk across Valley Bridge or the Spa Footbridge) into the Town Centre.

The Spa Theatre and South Bay Beach and Foreshore are easily reached on the Cliff Lift or by walking down the gently winding South Cliff Garden pathways...

Although the flat could potentially sleep 5 we prefer to limit the number of occupants to 4 for maximum comfort.

Low occupancy discount off-peak if booking a week (or more) and only using the double bed.

Sorry no pets or smoking are allowed.

Ideal Location. Perfect if visiting the Spa Complex. Very pleasing first impression. The lift in the property allows easy access with your luggage to the first floor. Property was very clean and tidy and was suitably equipped for both weekly and weekend stays. Property is situated near to sea front activities by way of the cliff railway or a pleasant walk through the seafront gardens. Enjoyed the proximity to the Spa Complex and the beachfront walk to the harbour took about 30 minutes. Property is close to a supermarket for your essentials and some take away establishments if required. A real home from home, with everything you could need. On road parking outside the property could be an issue, but we did manage to find a parking space on each occasion.
A wonderful and very comfortable apartment. Everything you could possibly need was available in the apartment. Location is excellent especially if you have a young family and wish to visit the beach which via the South Bay Cliff Lift was literally 5 minutes away.There are a number of local shops and take away food outlets just around the corner on Ramshill Road which is very convenient too. We would like to highly recommend this apartment.
Another great stay! this was our second stay at this apartment after we enjoyed our experience so much the previous year. Got to say we were not disappointed at all on our return! On both trips we have really had that "home from home" feeling - we just love the place! The big plus points are the ideal location (close to local shops and attractions, etc.) and homeliness. We really can't ask for more than what you get here at a great price to boot! I'm certain we'll be back again, my family will demand it!
This is the fourth time we have been and we go again in September. This apartment is in an ideal place 10 minutes to the sea front you can walk down or use the cliff lift 10 minutes to the town. There is a lift at the apartment block so you can get your luggage up easy to the apartment which has everything you require for your stay.
Comfortable and convenient stay in Scarborough The location of this apartment was perfect for our conference at Scarborough Spa. We stayed with our adult daughter who used the sofa bed, which she said was very comfortable whilst we used the bedroom , which also has a single bed in it. The bed linen was very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and instructions for everything were easy to find. We would recommend this apartment to anyone and we will hopefully be back next year.
Bedwyn's. Another absolute fantastic holiday spent in Scarborough! The apartment is so comfortable and is like an home from home. The location of the apartment is perfect for the seafront and the town centre and is in a lovely quiet area.There are all the local amenities that you would require from a choice of convenience stores, fast food outlets to traditional fish and chip shops and chemists etc. The free Wi-Fi which was welcomed by us, especially the little one! Overall the apartment is excellent value for money and we would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to spend their holidays in and around Scarborough. 10/10
An outstanding holiday flat - perfect location for us. The quality of furnishings, bedding and kitchen equipment was excellent. Bath and shower were top quality and communications from the owners exemplary. Spotlessly clean. It made our holiday to know we were going back to such comfort for such a reasonable price. We would return without hesitation.
Fantastic location What a lovely flat in easy walking distance of the town and station. This is a perfect location for exploring Scarborough. The flat was lovely and clean. There was loads of storage and the beds were extremely comfortable. The leaflets about the local area and beyond were very helpful. We will certainly be staying here on our return.

Great stay. We were very impressed with the standard of comfort and cleanliness. Location very convenient for esplanade and Olivers mount. Scarborough so much to do and see great not to need the car. Excellent bus service for touring area. Local shops very good recommend chocolate shop.
