The main entrance to the building is into a limestone-floored foyer via a few wide steps from Craven Street. An intercom entry system provides an alternative to key entry. The foyer is bright and welcoming and contains the lift and stairs to the upper floors. The entire block is clean and well-maintained.
This large apartment has a contemporary style, with wooden floors, large windows and an uncluttered feel.
Apartment 15 has its own wide entrance hall, full-length mirror and chair.... plenty of room to leave your outdoor clobber here.
The hall leads around to a separate lounge; furnished with two leather sofas an easy chair, side tables, TV and DVD.. It has plenty of natural light from two large sash widows and open views over roof-tops across Scarborough. One of the sofas converts to a comfortable sofa-bed - allowing the apartment to sleep four guests.
The kitchen is high-ceilinged and well-appointed, again with a large window.....it has all mod cons, including a ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Here also is a dining table and four chairs, an ideal space if you are eating in.
On this level is a smart bathroom, with WC, washbasin, bath and hand-held shower attachment. It has quality sanitary-ware and is attractively finished with mosaic tiles. (NOTE: Guests using the sofa-bed have this as their bathroom).
Carpeted stairs lead up from the hallway to the double bedroom, which has its own en-suite. The bedroom is cleverly-designed with Velux windows and a mezzanine balcony allowing you to look down into the kitchen. There are bedside tables with storage, reading lamps and a separate hanging area for your clothes. The en-suite is fitted in the same style as the bathroom downstairs, and offers a walk-in shower as well as a WC and washbasin.
