This smart, ground-floor holiday apartment is in a great South Cliff location, convenient for the beach and local shops and with easy access to Town and the Foreshore. Fantastic views over the Esplanade to the South Bay.

Perfect for a special break for a couple or for a small family group with older children or grandparent.

You reach this single-floor accommodation from Esplanade Gardens via (8) steps through a communal entrance hallway then into the flat's reception hall. The hall opens into a large, high-ceilinged sea-view living room. This bright multi-purpose bay-windowed room is beautifully presented with sleek kitchen units, dining table and chairs, two leather sofas and a coffee table. Reading lamps, TV/DVD, CD, books and games contribute to a relaxed holiday feel. The huge bay window overlooks attractive gardens and gives some lovely oblique  armchair sea views.

At the rear of the living room is a high-spec' kitchen area with lots of units and workspace and all the equipment you would expect at this standard including a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and a washer-dryer .

Off the hallway is the flat's really classy, tiled bathroom with shower over bath, WC and washbasin.

The bedrooms are well-furnished and inviting....
Just beyond the bathroom is the master bedroom which is south facing with a pleasant outlook. It has a double bed, TV, wardrobe, drawers, dressing table, mirror, bedside tables and reading lamps.
The second bedroom is further back, down a few steps and is of a good size with 3ft twin beds, bedside tables, lamps, drawers and hanging space. Two windows allow plenty of warming southern light into this space. This twin room would suit adults as well as children.

Altogether a very well-appointed holiday apartment with brand-new furnishings, fixtures and fittings, in an excellent location.


To the rear of the property is a communal yard accessed from within the property (this area is for disposal of rubbish and not really suitable for sitting out).

In a prime South Cliff setting just off the Esplanade and yards from the Cliff Lift and woodland paths leading to Scarborough's glorious South Bay.

What's nearby?

The road on which the property stands - Esplanade Gardens - adjoins Scarborough's famous Esplanade a few yards away. The apartment is close to the Funicular Cliff Lift – which takes you quickly from the Esplanade down to the Spa Theatre and South Bay Beach. Alternatively you can walk to this area down one of the gently winding woodland pathways - perhaps pausing at the Clock Cafe or one of the many viewpoints along the way.
The Spa Theatre is the venue for a wide variety of events including the famous Open-Air Orchestral Concerts.
In front of the apartment are lovely well-tended gardens. Tree-lined with benches, lawned areas and water features the gardens are great to enjoy a picnic, sunbathe or find shade.

The South Cliff area is considered the quieter side of town but has hotels serving good food, and offering excellent leisure facilities (day passes can be obtained).
....and at Ramshill (10 mins walk inland) are take-aways, restaurants, cafes, a post office, a pharmacy, convenience stores and independent shops.
The nearest 24-hour supermarket & Railway/Bus Station are about 1/2 mile away in the direction of the Town Centre. Scarborough’s vibrant Centre is reached on foot in 10-15 minutes via the Spa Footbridge ...or by car across Valley Bridge in 5 minutes. The South Bay Foreshore and Harbour with its traditional seaside events and attractions is a further couple of minutes' distant.
Places to visit within an hour’s drive include the North York Moors National Park, Pickering and the Steam Railway, the historic city of York and the picturesque and fascinating Whitby & Robin Hood's Bay.

Access: 8 steps to main door of building. Level access into flat and generally around the flat, however there are just a few steps down to rear (twin) bedroom..... and a few steps to the rear yard to take rubbish out.
