First time we have used Bedwyns but I have to say it was absolutely brilliant . Really easy to book , the apartment was excellent not only value for money but very clean and comfortable. Would recommend to any family and would definitely book again.


2-bedroom, pet-friendly property a short walk from the Esplanade and Victorian gardens.

This attractive flat is on the first floor of this handsome Edwardian Villa in the South Cliff area of Scarborough.

You enter into a communal hallway, which is carpeted and has wide stairs leading to the 1st floor, where you will find the entrance to Flat Number 3.


The lovely lounge has twin 2-seater leather sofas, TV, DVD, and dual-aspect views down the Avenue towards the Esplanade.


There's a good, modern, fully-equipped kitchen including cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine.


The smart modern bathroom has bath, WC and washbasin and an electric shower over the bath.


You have 2 bedrooms.

The first is a double room with wardrobe, drawers and bedside cabinets.

The second bedroom can sleep 1 or 2 guests. Usually this bedroom is arranged for single occupancy, but a high-quality guest-bed can be drawn from under the single bed for use by another person. The guest-bed is full-size with a proper (sprung) mattress and stands level with the single bed when set up. It can be placed side-by-side with the single or at a right angle to form an L-shape with it.

NOTE: This second bedroom has drawers but no wardrobe.


Bed-linen and all utilities included (please bring your own towels).

Free WiFi is available on request on arrival.


One small well-behaved pet is welcome at no extra charge.

The South Cliff is regarded as the quieter side of Scarborough and is an area characterised by grand Victorian architecture, attractive wide avenues and glorious Award-Winning Public Gardens.


It's an easy walk to the Esplanade (approx 500yards) where you can catch the Cliff Lift, or walk through gardens, down to the South Bay Beach and Spa Theatre.
This property is conveniently located for local shops, bars and cafes in Ramshill.

15-20 minutes walk will take you to Scarborough Town Centre, the Bus & Train Stations & the Foreshore.


No 3 is similar to the very popular Avenue Victoria Apartment No 4, except it has a bigger living/dining area and a smaller second bedroom.
If you are looking for additional accommodation, Apt No 4 (sleeping 4 guests) is conveniently situated next door.

Good value for money. Comfortable accommodation and is suitable for a small family, or just a couple. A big plus is that the accommodation is dog friendly. The location is excellent as its only a short stroll to the Esplanade. Bedwyns themselves went out of their way to find accommodation for us at last minute. They were friendly, professional, thoughtful and trustworthy.
We were very pleased with the flat, very quiet, we never knew anyone else was staying in the building. Lovely spacious flat, high ceilings and on the first floor which meant we could leave the top windows open for some fresh air. Decent sized kitchen with everything you needed, plenty storage in double bedroom, maybe not quite so much in the twin room but it was enough for our two children. Nice clean bathroom, lovely living room, couldn't fault it.
We had a great few days in Scarborough, the sun shone for us! :-) The apartment was ideally located for the Spa where we were attending a conference. The accommodation was basic - which we were expecting from the price we paid, but it was adequate for our needs. Thank you.
A nice holiday at the coast......We booked very late but the agents ( Jean ) were v efficient and helpful. The apartment was ideal for the 2 of us but as it has a second bedroom it is normally for 4. It has a good sized lounge and the bedroom was a good size also. The kitchen had plenty of cutlery/crockery and space with the fridge having a useful freezer section. The apartment is well positioned for the lift down to the Spa area or a 10 minute walk into the town..the gardens at the Esplanade are lovely and worth the walk on the way down to the sea. Overall an enjoyable stay thanks to the owner and Jean at the agents. We do hope to return soon with family.
Great Holiday. We love staying there wouldn't stay anywhere else its got everything we want its always clean and the lady who owns it is lovely
Fantastic well placed accomodation Loved this flat, great for the price. Plenty of room. Second bedroom small but perfect for children. Lovely big lounge to relax in after long days sight seeing. All rooms very cosy -as weather was a bit chilly whilst we were there. The flat is a stones throw from the sea & a handy ‘cliff lift’ if you don't fancy the walk down/up. Also lots of shops/takeaways nearby. Loved the owner who we got to meet-shes a hoot!! Oh and being able to bring our pet was the icing on the cake!
I booked his apartment due to it being dog friendly and I was not disappointed, on arrival the owner was very welcoming and gave all the relevant information to make it a pleasant and hassle free stay. It is ideally situated with he south cliff only being a few hundred yards away and the town centre about a ten minute walk but his is longer if walked by the cliff path. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and you could not hear any noise from the other apartments, the only issue was parking trying to locate a space but in no way did it spoil any thing. I would certainly book the apartment again it is excellent value for money, very comfortable and clean in a marvelous location with the added bonus of the dog enjoying the holiday as well. I booked for one week but wished it had been longer, a home from home.
Always a good welcome.....Good location away from the crowds but near enough to join them! Nice accommodation. Lovely walk down to the sea. Review August 2019. We are very grateful with Mandy, her care and information provided was excellent. We had an excellent lovely time regardless the weather which was not dry all the time. Having board games, DVD player and the TV made a nice difference. The flat is comfortable and cosy, has a lovely view, nice walks around and I couldn't believe that on top of all that we were so lucky that we even had the church just three houses from the flat! Absolutely lovely holidays in there.
We have stayed here many times in the past and have stayed in this apartment twice this year. Everything you need is there and the owner is very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to our next stay at Avenue Victoria next year (sooner if we could!)
Excellent value for money....Comfortable and excellent value for money. Owner friendly and helpful. Accomodation clean and welcoming. Handy for spa and esplanade.
