4 STAR **** This spacious South Cliff apartment is situated on Avenue Victoria, a few hundred yards from the Esplanade.
You can see the sea beyond the end of Avenue Victoria from the lounge. South Cliff is regarded as being the quieter side of Scarborough and is characterised by attractive period architecture, breathtaking natural scenery and beautiful formal gardens. The award-winning Italian and Belvedere Gardens extend from the Esplanade above to the South Bay below. You can take one of the many footpaths through the Gardens to reach the beach and other South Bay attractions (including the Spa Theatre and Conference Centre) or use the funicular Cliff Lift to transport you between the two levels. The Town Centre can be reached in 10-15 minutes via the Spa footbridge, or by car in 5 minutes. Starfish Apartment is convenient for Ramshill (just around the corner from the property, but not too close to be noisy) where you will find a variety of small shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. The Railway Station and a 24-Hour Supermarket are within 3/4 mile. York and Leeds are about an hour's drive west; the North York Moors 15 mins northeast and the historic port of Whitby 30 mins north.
Remember to ask about COUPLES DISCOUNT if you're only using the double bedroom for a week, off-peak.

4 STAR **** This is a super, first-floor apartment with TWO BEDROOMS, a LARGE LOUNGE with bay window, a modern well equipped kitchen and bathroom.
You get a glimpse of the North Sea from the lounge window. The high-ceilinged rooms, large windows and tasteful decoration & furnishings give a lovely, bright, warm feel to this single floor accommodation. The communal hallway and flight of stairs used to access the apartment, are well-maintained, well-lit and inviting.
The apartment has its own entrance hallway and all rooms lead off this.
The lounge has two large sofas (TV, DVD, CD and radio). The kitchen is generously-equipped with all the usual utensils and appliances, including a WASHER and DISHWASHER. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen in addition to a dining table in the lounge. The bathroom has a bath,with electric shower over, WC and washbasin. The spacious master bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds (one of which can be tucked away under the other when not in use). Cot (travel) and highchair available at no extra cost.
Bed-linen is provided but please bring your own towels. Parking is free on-street. NO SMOKING.
PLEASE NOTE: The sofa in the lounge can be converted to a double bed, but we offer this as an alternative sleeping space rather than an additional one, preferring to limit the total number of occupants to 4. Please discuss this with us - we will try to be as flexible as possible to suit your requirements.
